Video, Stats: 50 Below is C-C-Cold

Extreme cold grips the nation this weekend... officially, Gunnison Colorado fell to -35 Saturday morning while Bigfork, MN dipped to -30 this morning (-35 was unofficially reported by a Minnesota D.O.T. station). It was even colder in Canada, with -56 reported in Eureka, Northwest Territories. Eric Hong reports from ABC:

Here in Pennsylvania, single digits were not uncommon. The weather station at AccuWeather HQ fell to 5 degrees and Bradford hit 1.

But it was the wind chills that were even more incredible: -15 at AccuWeather HQ; but that was nothing to compare with the -61 at Grand Marais, MN.
