In Belleville, Alabama: "ONE FATALITY ALONG WITH 15 TO 20 HOUSES DAMAGED." See photos and a report from the Washington Post.

In Baker, Florida, a tornado hit a school injuring about a dozen students (see my report including radar images).

In Manning, South Carolina, a tornado destroyed 9 mobile homes and damaged 18. Read the report from the Island Packet.

In Montegut, Louisiana: "TWO HOMES REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN LIFTED AND DROPPED."

Near Batesville, Alabama: "ONE INJURY TO A PERSON IN A CAR THAT WAS LIFTED OFF HIGHWAY 82."

In Camden, Georgia: "POSSIBLE TORNADO ON INTERSTATE 95. PRELIMARY REPORT OF SEVERAL TRACTOR TRAILER BLOWN OFF THE HIGHWAY."
