PROMO: NetWeather for Blogs, Sites
We've released a great new tool here at AccuWeather.com which you can use to easily add ad-free weather to your blog or website. It's called NetWeather, it's user-configurable, and the best part... it's free!
Let's say I want to add a blue-colored weather synopsis from AccuWeather HQ here in State College, PA. I pasted in the code as instructed below and you can see it now:
Or let's say I wanted a small image which checked how cold it is at Mount Washington* [JessePedia], or even in Antarctica:
Those were so neat I filed them permanently in a "Weird Weather" section to your left.
Another example: Let's say I wanted to monitor conditions in Manila, Phillipines (where they are recovering from Typhoon Xangsane). Let's say I wanted that MySpace.com-size, in Spanish with Metric units and I wanted a purple background. No problem.
Pretty cool, huh? There are more sizes and colors to choose from. Get yours today!
*Mount Washington is a special case. Normally weather organizations try to "hide" their observations because they are so radically different than the surrounding area (and because the public doesn't "live" there). So I had the guys downstairs cook up a special code to show it. If you want to see the real weather on top of Mount Washington, enter "UA035" for your zipcode when setting up your NetWeather.
