NW: 4 Feet of Snow, Deadly Tree
A 100-year-old tree fell on a pickup truck driving on Interstate 90 in Washington (near Snoqualmie Pass), killing the driver and a passenger. KIRO TV has a photo and says in the article:
The accident came after massive snowfall amounts were recorded in Washington, Oregon and Idaho for the end-of-week storm. Here are some recent snowfall amounts from the NWS (Amounts over one foot / 12 inches shown):
