Monster Waves Bound for PacNW, BC
If the WaveWatch Forecast Model is correct, massive waves will pileup on the shores of the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, Canada this week as a major storm system makes landfall on Canada's western shore mid-week. This snapshot from Wednesday evening shows waves of over 42 feet offshore, with 36-foot monsters hitting land (this area shifts south onto Washington's coast overnight).
Canadian expert Brett Anderson (PREMIUM | PRO) offers a more specific forecast for British Columbia, citing up to 2 feet of snow today and possibly again Wednesday and Friday.
