Lightning Strikes Thrice in Chicago
UPDATE 7/27: And we have *5* strikes at the same time in this hi-res photo taken by Alain Aguilar in New York City in May 2010. I have emailed him to ask about the exposure time and he has said it was only 1 second at f/8!

UPDATE 7/14: Here's a photo of lightning striking FOUR communications towers in Oklahoma City yesterday. Not sure how long the exposure was, I have emailed the photographer. According to the EXIF data, it was only 0.125 (seconds, I assume), though I find it hard to believe that you could capture this much lightning without a longer exposure. Maybe I am reading the data wrong.
You may have seen this photo of lightning striking two skyscrapers in Chicago at the same time on June 23rd a couple weeks ago, but have you seen the video which shows three buildings being struck? AccuWeather.com Photo Gallery photographer Edzila was also photographing lightning a few days prior (June 18th) and provided a similar photo:
It's not unusual of course for lightning to strike twice in the same location - or to hit two buildings at the same time. Three, well that's a little more unusual, and more unusual still to get it on video.
