Kennedy`s Plane Struck by Lightning
Senator Edward Kennedy's Cessna Citation 550 was struck by lightning around 4 p.m. Saturday as he flew across Massachusetts, according to the New York Times. The plane lost all electrical power but landed safely. A 2-hour lightning image from AccuWeather.com showed no lightning in the state, but only cloud-to-ground lightning strikes are shown on the map.
