Guatemala Road Collapse Photo
I pick the AP Photo of the Day here at AccuWeather on the weekends. I prefer exciting severe weather or damage photos, but sometimes when the weather is boring, it's hard to find anything. And sometimes you find one that is really impressive. Such is the case in today's photo:

A trailer truck rests at the bottom of a gap created when a section of one of Guatemala's main highways caved in due to heavy rains, Wednesday June 14, 2006, some 15 miles east of Guatemala City. Intense rains have caused flooding and made authorities declare an alert throughout the country. (AP Photo/Moises Castillo)
There didn't appear to be any news covering this particular flooding situation.
