Gadget: AccuWeather.com Helps Plants Grow
AccuWeather.com's weather data is part of a new partnership for a gadget that literally keeps your plants growing - by telling you what kind of plants will grow in your environment (inside or outside), and why they aren't doing well.
The product is called "EasyBloom." The way the product works is:
1. You stick it in the soil next to your plant (for a day) 2. You plug it into your computer 3. You get results from EasyBloom.com
To quote from the press release:
Pretty neat, and I'm sure a sign of how Internet-enabled everyday household tasks will become in the future. The VentureBeat calls it "Gardening 2.0" in an excellent article which explains more about the device, and its history.
