Cassini Hears Lightning on Saturn
I don't usually report on astronomy, but I like to when it involves the weather on other worlds.
Last week, NASA's Cassini spied a massive storm on Saturn which generated radio emissions believed to be the signature of lightning.
This week, NASA released audio files of the lightning's "static" (like on an AM radio).
Although the Cassini project had made some of this information obsolete, you can read an older article about the weather on Saturn on the BBC site.
