AccuChase09: Finally, A Tornado Intercept!

Day 9: On (originally unscheduled) Day 9 chasing tornadoes, Shawn's team finally caught one in Goshen County, Wyoming. A photograph and radar shot are shown below. Fortunately the tornado appeared to be away from population. One of the VORTEX2 probe vehicles encountered 4.5" diameter hail that broke their windshield! Two additional tornadoes were also sighted.
