A Storm of Controversy on the Forums
On the AccuWeather.com Forums today, I'm participating in several threads. First, regarding the light snow event last night in North Carolina and Virginia; the storm is transferring its energy offshore to a new storm today, and some people are still holding out hope that some of the precipitation from that second storm could graze New England. (Ironically, the pure speculation about this storm bringing snow to the Northeast ranked the "Forecast" topic #2 for highest traffic on the Forums since their inception in January).
UPDATE: At 12 pm, rain and snow showers are forming rapidly over the Appalachians, where some locations are cold enough to receive snow.Second, a Midwestern winter storm (mainly Wisconsin and Michigan) is setting up for this week.
