4th Sighting of KH Wave Clouds
I commented in this entry last week that I had seen three blog posts about Kelvin-Helmholtz wave clouds in the last month. Tonight, I add a fourth.
I was on my evening walk here in State College, PA when I observed KH clouds to the southwest. They weren't extremely well formed but you could tell it was them. Of course, I didn't have my camera with me but you can see the setup on this shot from my weather camera. The clouds were just to the right (west) of that picture, in fact that's probably the remnants of them on the right.
