250,000 Hurricane Sandy-Ravaged Cars
These pictures are absolutely incredible -- an entire airport runway on Long Island, N.Y., is being used to store 15,000 of the (estimated) 250,000 vehicles estimated damaged by Hurricane Sandy. An insurance auction company is paying the city $2.7 million to keep them there, so they must think they can make some cash "flipping" them after repairs or selling them for salvage. It's another great visual of how massive Hurricane Sandy was.
