    Western Uinta Mountains-Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs-
    Central Mountains-Southern Mountains-
    Including the cities of Woodruff, Randolph, Alta, Brighton,
    Mirror Lake Highway, Scofield, Cove Fort, Koosharem, Fish Lake,
    Loa, Panguitch, and Bryce Canyon

    * AFFECTED AREA...The Wasatch and Western Uinta Mountains, the
    Wasatch Plateau and Book Cliffs, along with the Central and
    Southern Mountains of Utah.

    * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 to 12 inches above 8000 feet with higher
    amounts in areas favored by northwest flow. Mountain locations
    below 8000 feet can expect 2 to 6 inches of accumulation.

    * TIMING...Across the northern and central mountains, snow will
    continue, heavy at times, before gradually decreasing in
    intensity during afternoon hours. Across the southern mountains,
    snow will increase again for the late morning and afternoon
    hours. Snow will taper off across all areas this evening.

    * SNOW LEVELS...Near 6500 feet this morning, lowering to all
    mountain elevations by mid-morning.

    * IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions can be expected along all
    high elevation routes, with the greatest travel impacts this
    morning. Periods of slush are possible this morning below 8000
    feet along area roads, including Parleys Summit, Daniels Summit
    and Sardine Summit, as well as the higher passes along I- 15.


    A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that snow accumulations
    will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
    covered roads. Use caution while driving.
