Redding Police are asking for your help regarding a bank robbery this afternoon.

Just after 4 p-m, Redding Police responded to a robbery at the Chase Bank on Cypress Avenue.
The suspect is described as an unshaven white male adult.
He's 5-8, weighs 200 pounds and was wearing a short sleeve plaid shirt and khaki cargo shorts.
According to police, the suspect gave the teller a note demanding cash, stating he was armed with a handgun.
The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say the suspect fled the bank in an unknown direction and by unknown means.
Officers searched the area with the assistance of an RPD K-9, CHP helicopter, and the use of a Community Notification System, but were unable to locate the suspect.
