Minneapolis Police are investigating a string of robberies in the Third Precinct. There have been more than a dozen robbery reports in the last 11 days.
Police report there have been 14 robberies in the Third Precinct north of East 35th Street in since July 18. Eight of the cases involved 11 Latino victims. Although, a police spokesperson says it's unclear whether Latinos are being targeted or if it's just a function of neighborhood demographics. Police are also uncertain if the robberies are connected.
Police have stepped up patrols and enforcement in the area as they search for suspects.
The cases are under investigation.
