MLB: Rain to depart Los Angeles just in time for Game 1 of the National League series
The 2018 MLB National League Division Series kicks off this week, with the Braves first heading to Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers on Thursday night.
After wet weather moved through Southern California at midweek, it will turn drier on Thursday.

The dry weather will give the field and stands plenty of time to dry out before fans filter into the stadium and the first pitch is thrown at 5:30 p.m. local time (8:30 p.m. EDT), according to AccuWeather Meteorologist Brett Edwards.

"With calm conditions and temperatures in the mid- to upper 60s F through much of the game, perfect baseball weather is expected," Edwards said. "These conditions are expected to continue through Friday for Game 2, with ideal baseball weather yet again."
Game 3 will take the Dodgers and Braves to Atlanta on Sunday evening, where warm and humid but rain-free weather will greet the players and fans.
