Radar Views of the Subtropical Storm

Here are some radar views of the Subtropical (our name) storm off the east coast and making landfall on Long Island (I'm guessing) overnight. First, from AccuWeather.com MapSpace™:

You can download radar loops here.* Here's a look at the storm-total rainfall from the NWS Hourly Gauge-Adjusted Doppler Precip Site (I also saved off the single site NEXRADs at the link above - note - do not believe our state radar 24-hr precip, the amounts are way off).

A rain gauge in Norwich, CT reported 4.06" of rain and the SHINNECOCK INLET TOWER reported a wind gust to 55 mph, according to the NWS. So far as I could tell, buoys and coastal stations near landfall did not report winds over 42 knots.
