National Weather Festival Held

I know, I'd never heard of it either. The third annual National Weather Festival was held by the Norman, Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce on Saturday. Norman is a hotbed of meteorological acitivity, being home to NOAA's Storm Prediction Center and the National Weather Center, a FAQ-less organization of some sort from the University of Oklahoma.

The festival included a Storm Chaser Car Show, with winners in the following categories:

- Most Hail Damage - Most Working Sensors - Most Unique - Most Cutting Edge - Best Looking

Of course, having won a local Storm Chasing Car contest once, I won't pass any judgement.
