Intense Pennsylvania snow squalls cause deadly pileups
On Monday, intense snow squalls caused travel problems across the state of Pennsylvania and caused two deadly pileups. At 2:15 PM, radar showed an intense (over 33 dBZ) radar echo moving across I-83 south of York, PA.

A webcam from 511PA confirmed a major accident near Loganville:

Interstate 83 was closed in both directions after the crash; after more than an hour the northbound lane was partially opened -- but traffic was at a standstill for over 10 miles between York and the Maryland border.
