Epsilon Emulates Sea Creatures
Dennis The Programmer emailed me the Model Spread graphic (available on Pro) for Hurricane Epsilon yesterday, and pointed out that it looked like a dangerous crab of some sort. Ironically today I pulled up the map and it looked like a jellyfish. Now all of this comes after Carl pointed out that one of our hand-drawn map looked like a snow-covered cactus. I think all of this "stems" from the fact that Carl and I were looking at the "Plantimals II" section of Worth1000 yesterday (disclaimer - who knows what you might find on that site).
But the fact that we even have a week-old hurricane in the Atlantic in December is the silliest notion of all. The AccuWeather.com Hurricane Center reports today:
