Remember how Henry was talking about the tornado stats yesterday? On a related note, the NWS [JessePedia] office in Blacksburg, Virginia issued this statement yesterday:

Ken Reeves also noted in yesterday's edition of the Point-CounterPoint streaming video (available exclusively on Premium and Pro):

"I was talking with one of the guys from the NWS here locally about what appears to be an increase in the amount of convection in the Semptmber months fairly far north relative to what is climatologically normal."
