Look for Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the moon Saturday morning

By Dave Samuhel, AccuWeather senior meteorologist

The waning crescent moon will be near the morning planets on Saturday. You will not have to be up ridiculously early to see the show. Saturn is the latest planet to rise, at 4:30 a.m. local time. Afterward, the foursome will be visible until sunrise.

We have seen some beautiful images of the moon since the blue blood supermoon. A special thanks to our AccuWeather Astronomy Facebook friends for sending in some great pictures!

Accu Astronomy Facebook friend Deirdre Horan snapped this image early Friday morning when the moon was near the planets.

Accu Astronomy Facebook friend Frank Little captured the moon behind the Chrysler Building in NYC. He had been trying to get this shot for a year!

Check out more of our freind's posts here.

Check out this view "Starman" had earlier in the week while he was jamming out to some David Bowie!

Not too many things are free anymore; however, looking at the night sky is still one of those things. Thanks for reading! Just look up, you never know what you will see.
