Jupiter pairs with the moon this weekend

Clear skies are expected for a large portion of the country through the weekend. So, many will see the the nearly full moon. It will pass very close to Jupiter this weekend as well.

You can't miss Jupiter, it is the second-brightest object in the night sky. Only the moon shines brighter. Venus is brighter than Jupiter, but is only visible during the early morning hours.

The full moon is Tuesday night. The full moon in July is known as the thunder moon. But, we are calling it the Half Blood thundermoon. There will be a partial eclipse. When the moon is eclipsed, it has a blood-red look. The eclipse Tuesday night will only be visible in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Enjoy your time outdoors this weekend. Thanks for readking! Just look up; you never know what you will see!
