Significant Storm by Wednesday
A more classic, La Nina type storm will track toward the Ohio Valley early Wednesday. Moist air ahead of the storm will clash with the cold in air place across Ontario resulting in the potential for heavy snowfall Wednesday. It is still early so the track and intensity of the storm can change, but at this point you may want to polish off those shovels and have plenty of gas for the snow blower.
One more thing, it will turn bitterly cold behind this storm late in the week. The extended long range hits at a significant thaw for the eastern U.S and eastern Canada, but not until mid-February.
