...SLICK ROADS POSSIBLE THIS MORNING... An arctic cold front will pass through the region this morning. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures falling into the upper 20s to around 30 by sunrise. Gusty west-northwest winds will continue across the region this morning and will aid in drying out area roadways to some extent. However, where residual water remains from last night's rainfall, patches of black ice may develop towards dawn. In addition, areas of very light snow and snow flurries will be possible. The most likely trouble spots for black ice this morning will be on area bridges and overpasses. Please allow some extra time to reach your destination this morning.
