Top resorts here can be a little pricey, but you can find outstanding beach houses that are very reasonably priced. The best time to go to Punta Cana is from January through March before the rainy season starts.
Corfu, Greece
You will think that your eyes are deceiving you after your flight to Corfu because of this island’s exotic greenery. Settle in at one of the resorts and dine like a local to get an authentic taste of Greek culture. The calm water here lends itself well to all types of water fun. While the best time to see whale sharks is from March to August, you can swim, dive, snorkel, and participate in other water activities year-round here. Skip the central tourist hotel hub and head to one a little further out, and you will find Valparaiso, Chile, one of the most affordable places to go on a beach vacation. After a day spent laying on this city’s sandy beaches, take a sunset stroll around town to see the beautiful street art. You may want to bring your larger swimwear because the food here is very delicious and varied. The best time to go to Valparaiso is from December to February because the crowds will be fewer.
Grenada
Called the Spice Island, Grenada offers some of the best rum in the world, and you can enjoy it at many beautiful beachside locations. This location is home to the world’s first underwater sculpture park. This island nation has some of the most transparent waters in the Caribbean, and it is a great place to go on a scuba dive to see coral reefs. Peak travel season to Grenada falls between January and April.

Tallinn, Estonia
If you are looking to go on a European beach vacation without the high price tag, then consider Tallinn, Estonia. Beautiful sandy beaches await your arrival, but you will find many other things to do in this city that is located on the Bay of Finland. Hop on a boat, and you can be in Finland in under three hours. You will find this destination to have many Instagram-worthy locations.
