Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Northeast trade swell and longer-period north-northeast are generating a high risk of rip currents along north and east facing reefs and hazardous surf along north facing reefs. Northeast trade swell continues to build through the weekend where surf could reach up to 12 feet along north and east facing reefs, extending hazardous surf to east facing reefs.
