Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A large northeast trade swell is generating hazardous surf and high risk of rip currents along north and east facing reefs. Hazardous surf along east facing reefs may end tonight as the northeast swell decreases. Hazardous surf along north facing reefs and a high risk of rip currents along north and east facing reefs could extend through Tuesday if the northeast swell decreases slower than expected.
