Rising river levels this evening may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from the evening of 14 November 2025 into 15 November 2025. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. Areas most at risk include the B3151 Glastonbury to Meare Road. Overtopping is forecast from the Glastonbury Millstream and the River Brue at North Drain and Westhay. The River Brue is forecast to be bankfull upstream of Bruton Dam with field flooding likely. Most of the forecast rainfall has passed through and and a drier weekend is expected. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and have been checking rivers for blockges. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
