Rising river levels this may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible today, 17 December 2025. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including the farmland in Great Glen, Kilby Bridge, South Wigston and Blaby as well as the road at Crow Mills. River levels at South Wigston Gauge are rising and levels will remain high until this afternoon on 17/12/25. We are closely monitoring the situation . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . This message will be updated by 17:00 on 17 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
