Flooding is still possible. Further rain is forecast on Thursday with river levels expected to remain high. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. The main areas of concern are Newton Abbot, Kingsteignton, Teignmouth, Shaldon, Bovey Tracey, Kingskerswell, Dawlish and Dawlish Warren. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 19 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
