special weather statement in effect Significant rainfall continues tonight. Locations: most of northern and central Nova Scotia, including the Annapolis Valley. Additional rainfall: 15 to 30 mm. Time span: tonight, ending Tuesday morning. Similar events in the past have led to: - hazardous driving conditions from water ponding and pooling on roadways. Remarks: Rainfall intensity and amounts could vary considerably over short distances, even within the same county.
