As of 4 pm Thursday general rainfall amounts of 10-20 mm have fallen in southwest Manitoba as showers with embedded thunderstorms moved through the area. A further 25-40 mm is expected by Friday evening as the showers become more of a steady rain with the developing low pressure system to the south. Thunderstorms are also possible this evening. ### Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
