WM: Rome Cam, Storm Show, Thailand
As many of you know, as part of my Community Director job here at AccuWeather, I administrate WeatherMatrix, the Internet's largest weather enthusiast community. A new addition to this blog is going to be periodic announcements on interesting persons or organizations who have recently joined WeatherMatrix. You can see the Member Profiles for the most recent 100 applications here: United States | International.
First and foremost is famous storm chaser, blogger and weather photographerGene Rhoden. Gene will be hosting an Internet radio show about weather and storm chasing called "High Instability" every Wednesday night starting in January 2007.
Next up I'd like to introduce Jamie Monk, who writes a weather photo blog about the weather in Phuket, Thailand, which was devastated by the 2004 Tsunami.
Roberto Esposti is a new Member who has a weather station and webcam transmitting from Rome, Italy.
And last but not least, hailing from Barrington, NH, Jason Jasper runs a website for New Hampshire firefighter companies, showing pictures of them in action.
