Wilma Yucatan Damage Photos
News is still hard to come by and vague this morning, but I think these photos from this BBC article really tell the story of the devastation from Hurricane Wilma in the Yucatan. Reuters says that six people have been reported killed thus far.
A main avenue in the resort city of Cancun, Mexico can be seen completely flooded after the passing of Hurricane Wilma on Saturday Oct. 22, 2005. Hurricane Wilma punished Mexico's Caribbean coastline for a second day, ripping away storefronts, peeling back roofs and forcing tourists and residents trapped in hotels and shelters to scramble to higher floors.
