White Easter II: The Sequel
In reminiscing about going to my mother-in-law's house last Easter, I realized that this is our second White Easter in a row here in State College, PA. On Easter Sunday April 8, 2007, we had very similar snow cover to this morning, in fact I took a picture of a neighbor's Easter flag this morning which almost exactly matches last year's (except they trimmed the trees). Two White Easters in a row is notable here because there is no guarantee of snow after February here in Central PA. Last Easter, the snow was limited to our city, and when we went to my mother-in-laws, there was no snow on the ground. This year that will not be the case.
