When Will Rain End / Summer Start in the NE?
If you're wondering where the Summer weather is - well, officially Summer doesn't begin for a week. But it's been a cool start to June (which begins the "summer season") in most of the populated Northeast quadrant of the country, and parts of the mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes, according to the map below, showing temperatures compared to normal, when averaged out since June 1.
Here's a look at precip compared to normal - clearly the populated area of the mid-Atlantic and lower New England (not Boston) has experienced a wet June so far.
