Video: Crystal Beach Devastated By Ike, More

Here are some of the best links to photos and videos from Hurricane Ike. I am continuing to upload raw video from our affiliates into the Raw Video Player at right, and will make a permanent place for some of these in my blog tomorrow. One of the most impressive, from CNN, is this video of Crystal Beach, Texas, and island which was devastated by the storm. This had not been covered well by the media until this video was released today. Click here for a larger version.

Note how telling the photo below is as well. Not just the first row of houses was destroyed, but the first half a dozen. This was the "catastrophic damage" that I said yesterday we hadn't seen on Galveston Island.
