Video: 10 Inches of Rain Floods Dallas
If you've been watching cable today (I saw it on Fox News), you've probably seen various video on the severe flooding in Dallas over the weekend. Parts of the city received over half a foot of rain, according to radar and rain gauges. An article at KTEN is accompanied by a video.
The following image* shows rainfall since Saturday morning (from AccuWeather.com RadarPlus):

And even those estimates may be too low... the Dallas Flood Control district provided this map, showing over 10 inches in some locations in the city (for 7-day rainfall, most of which fell with this last storm system):
*The lesser amounts on the southeast side of Dallas are caused by the radar's "cone of silence" -- it can't see rain directly over itself.
