V-Storm: Final Snow Totals, Photos
Below is a map crafted by our graphic artists and meteorologists which attempts to show the snow accumulation from this most recent storm. Localized areas inside the "over 24 inches" area received up to 42 inches. There were at least two dozen reports of over 30 inches of snow in New York and Vermont. According to Bloomberg, Burlington, Vermont broke their all-time 24-hour snowfall record by receiving 25 inches.
Pressure fell as low as 28.79" (the equivalent of a Category 2 hurricane) this morning at Houlton, Maine.
