Before you get to excited, realize that a lot of that snow on the radar tonight in the mid-Atlantic is virga - evaporating before it hits the ground. Compare the radar and obs at 7 PM through this post I sent to the Forums. Here are some hi-res radar "wallpapers" from various points throughout the storm, during heavy snow in... Memphis, TN... Birmingham, AL... Atlanta, GA... and Washington, D.C.
