Update on the Beautiful Eastern Storm

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this storm is a beaut! Looking at the current pressure / wind / radar / satellite map from AccuWeather.com RadarPlus...

The northern half of the storm contains heavy snow, stretching from Maine through Canada and into Indiana. Some thundersnow was reported in Michigan earlier. Lines of heavy storms string up the storm from South Carolina into West Virginia; heavy freezing rain is in between.

Thus far (as of 8 PM), the expected tornadoes in the Carolinas have not happened, but the night is still young. You can track the storm reports with the box below.
