Undular Bore, This Time With Radar, Video
We talked a couple weeks ago about a wave cloud phenomenon called "Undular Bore." Several blog readers have pointed out this article (which I also got in a newsletter from NASA) detailing a UB on October 3rd in Iowa.
This time, not only do we have a radar shot of the thunderstorm-born bore, we have a video of webcam images from the ground, showing the undular bore (which are usually documented with satellite images only) moving overhead.
