Colorado State has updated their Hurricane forecast, reducing it slightly. There is much ado about nothing this week, i.e. nothing happening in the Tropics. But AccuWeather.com's Ken Reeves reminds us that, on average, we have 12 storms left this season, and the "C" storm has come as late as 8/21 in recent memory. AccuWeather.com is not changing their original forecast and still warning of the East Coast threat.

Cotton fields in the Southeast are at peak watering needs this week and next. But the continuing drought there will threaten the crops, especially in areas which attempt to improve profits by not using irrigation. Another good example of how weather affects business.
