Tropical Storm Chris on Radar
Tropical Storm Chris is showing up well on the San Juan Puerto Rico radar this morning. It's sometimes hard to remember that the U.S. does have a NEXRAD radar way out there in the Caribbean.
The models are showing quite a spread this morning, and whether or not Chris tracks over Hispanolia and Cuba will really make a difference in how strong it will be when it gets near Florida.
AccuWeather.com Professional's Joe Bastardi has put his forecast to music this morning:
CHRIS'S TOP 2 HITS?
1. KOKOMO (Off the Florida Keys): "There's a place called Kokomo / That's where you wanna go to get away from it all..."
2. GALVESTON (Texas): "Galveston, oh Galveston, I still hear your sea waves crashing / While I watch the cannons flashing..."
One thing is for sure. Chris will be causing high waves and gusty winds for Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and eventually Hispanolia during the next day or two.
