Tornadoes, Waterspouts: NC,SC,FL
Several tornadoes and waterspouts were reported in the Carolinas and Florida over the weekend. Radar loops from yesterday afternoon out of Charleston and Wilmington are available as Quicktime movies.
A weak tornado in Florida ripped the roof off of an apartment building in Apopka, Florida Saturday night, according to Local6.com. The storm, which also featured 3/4-inch hail (large hail is unusual in Florida), knocked out power to 1,300 in the community, WESH.com said. At Surfside Beach, South Carolina, trees and a sign were downed while waterspouts were sighted Sunday afternoon "east of Myrtle Beach and south of Little River" according to The NWS [JessePedia] through MyrtleBeachOnline.com. Little River [Google Map] is near the NC/SC border, not far from My Beach [JessePedia].

Then last night around 10 PM, multiple funnel clouds and tornadoes were reported to the NWS near Beaufort, South Carolina.
That article also notes that "Gale-force winds were reported at the Coast Guard station in Oak Island, N.C. around 4 p.m. Sunday." In addition, The NWS reported that the Edisto Buoy (41004) gusted to 47 mph at 8:20 PM even though their graph of data did not indicate it.
