VIDEO CAPTION: Forecasters say at least two tornadoes touched down in north central Florida, bringing down power lines. Officials say they have no immediate reports of injuries or deaths. A meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Tallahassee says the storms were expected to move rapidly, so the severe weather would be out of the area by mid-morning. Power lines were down and some home and vehicles were damaged in the Chaires and Capitola communities east of Tallahassee. Leon County sheriff's Sgt. Tony Drzewiecki says there in no one reported injured. State emergency officials also say a tornado touched down in the tiny coastal town of Keaton Beach in Taylor County.
