Tornado Warning For South Jersey
AccuWeather.com Professional's Joe Bastardi [BIO] (PRO) wrote in his blog last night:
I saved off some radar loops from AccuWeather.com RadarPlus and you can download them* here. Below are snapshots from the time the warning was issued (4:12 AM):
RADAR REFLECTIVITY AT TIME OF WARNING
RADAR VELOCITY AT TIME OF WARNING
The orange next to green in the Velocity image means that the winds were moving southward and northward right next to each other, indicating a counterclockwise circulation of a possible tornado. No reports were received, of course it was over the bay in the middle of the night, so a lack of human reports doesn't mean that it didn't happen.
